Gov. Brian Kemp is scheduled to deliver his 2024 State of the State speech Thursday before a joint session of the Georgia General Assembly, outlining key legislative priorities his administration will push lawmakers to focus on.

On Wednesday, the Republican governor made remarks about those key priorities that he’ll likely reiterate during today’s speech.

“I look forward to working with the leadership and members of both chambers of the General Assembly on meaningful reforms that will stabilize costs for everyday Georgians, incentivize job creators to bring more opportunity to all parts of our state, and ensure Georgia is the best place to start, grow, and operate a business,” Kemp said Wednesday during the Chamber’s annual Eggs and Issues legislative preview event.
