David Buehler, a retired U.S. Navy captain, graduated from Webster University with a master's degree in management. He previously served as a member of the board of directors of the Alliance Against Family Violence, and is an advocate of the United Way of Leavenworth County, a nonprofit fundraising body that is part of the larger United Way network. He is a strong advocate for the second amendment, energy independence, the military, and veterans.
