Bio

Molly Baumgardner graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the University of Saint Mary. She has worked for Johnson County Community College. She was initially appointed to her seat in the state Senate in April 2014 as a replacement for Pat Apple, who resigned to take a position on the Kansas Corporation Commission. Baumgardner has been endorsed by the Kansas Livestock Association, the NRA, Kansas for Life, and the Kansas Farm Bureau, among other organizations.
