Dearborn County businessman wins Republican caucus for Senate seat

Outgoing state Sen. Chip Perfect’s pick to replace him in the Legislature has won the seat by a wide margin.

A caucus Tuesday night of Republican precinct committee leaders in southeastern Indiana’s Senate District 43 elected Dearborn County businessman Randy Maxwell to complete the last three years of Perfect’s term.
