More than 32,000 Hoosiers dropped from Medicaid coverage in August

The state dropped 32,404 Hoosiers from its Medicaid rolls in August as part of its continued effort to “unwind” a backlog of renewal reviews. In August, 144,513 Medicaid beneficiaries were due for renewal and had their reviews initiated. Of those up for renewal, 78,151 (54.1%) were renewed.
