Job Description:

Performs initial review of all incoming Promoting Employment Across Kansas (PEAK) applications for completeness. Responds to company via email regarding receipt of applications and requests any additional information not supplied with initial application submission. Prepares electronic file for Program Consultants and enters program information into the Salesforce system. Processes PEAK application fee through check deposit and/or verifies receipt of electronic payment through KanPay system.

Manages the PEAK annual verification reporting process. Prepares and maintains documentation necessary to complete the reporting process including but not limited to; notification and reminder letters, excel spreadsheets, and instructions. Determines timing of requested reports, and communication to company and/or consultants regarding required documentation necessary to complete the report. Reviews submission of information for accuracy and maintains an electronic file for such information. Reports appropriate action if reports are not timely or accurate to the PEAK Reporting Manager regarding default or placing a hold on the PEAK benefit.

Provides assistance to the Business Development Finance Manager including review of Job Creation Fund (JCF) program anniversary letters and reporting documentation, JCF check deposits, and filing of Kansas Technology Enterprise Corporation (KTEC) documents. Provides back up support for High Performance Incentive Program (HPIP), including data entry into Salesforce and for the Commerce front desk/receptionist position when needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

One year of experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work. (Twelve credit hours of course work at the post-secondary level in business management, finance or economics or a related field substituted for the one year of experience.)

Ability to compose, edit and format an appropriate business letter. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Any additional skills, experiences, or qualifications that would be beneficial, but aren’t strictly necessary.

  • Two years’ experience in office support/clerical work.
  • Salesforce experience
