Job Description

The position (K0245642) Lead the planning process with a heavily weighted emphasis on federally required projects, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines, and track progress against milestones. Meets the deadlines on federal reporting.

Coordinate resources, both internal and external, ensuring that they are available and properly allocated. Maintain a system of priorities.

Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:   Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders regularly. Identify and mitigate project risks and escalate issues as needed. Foster collaboration among team members and ensure clear communication across all project stakeholders. Communicate with regulatory entities such as CMS as appropriate to ensure timely project completion.

Conduct project milestone post-study reviews and create a recommendations report to identify wins and opportunities for improvement. Continuously work to improve project management processes and methodologies with an emphasis on automation and the use of electronic tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field

Licensing & Certification:

  • Valid Driver’s License – Incumbent is required to have and maintain a valid driver’s license when operating a state vehicle, a private vehicle, or a rental vehicle for the benefit of the State.

Preferred Qualifications:

Any additional skills, experiences, or qualifications that would be beneficial, but aren’t strictly necessary.

  • Project Management Professional Certification
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
  • Proofreading, editing, attention to detail
