The position (K0237643) Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring Systems (PRAMS) is a research project between KDHE and CDC.
The purpose of this project is to monitor health trends in newborns and explore ways to ensure pregnant persons and their newborns have their health needs met. As a member of our team you have the chance to impact the trajectory of our state and to improve the health of mothers and infants.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Conduct (English or Spanish language) KS PRAMS telephone interviews in accordance with program protocol as scheduled on weeknights, afternoons or Weekend hours including: communicate with PRAMS coordinator to set up monthly call schedule and calendar; ensure interviews are conducted professionally and according to PRAMS phone procedure; ensure human subjects protocol is met; document the interview outcomes accurately in PIDS; manage call “attempt” list; manage call “appointment list”.
Education:
High School, GED
Licensing & Certification:
Valid Driver’s License – Incumbent is required to have and maintain a valid driver’s license when operating a state vehicle, a private vehicle, or a rental vehicle for the benefit of the State.
Minimum Qualifications:
Speaks fluent Spanish and has six months of experience in general office, clerical, or administrative support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

- Proofreading, editing, attention to detail
- Spanish Speaking Skills a plus
- Experience managing information securely
